Kris Aquino prepared a special surprise for her firstborn son Josh, who is celebrating his 26th birthday this Friday, June 4.

On Instagram, Kris shared a video showing how she surprised Josh, who is now based in Tarlac City, with balloons and a golf cart despite being miles away from her son.

\"Thank you Mama and Bimb,\" Josh, who was obviously delighted by the surprise, told his mother and brother. \"I love you.\"

Aside from his birthday surprise, the video also shows Josh personally distributing grocery bags to residents in Tarlac as part of an outreach activity to mark his 26th birthday.

In the caption of her post, Kris recalled when she became a mother to Josh—who has been diagnosed with autism—at 24.

\"June 4, 1995. I was so NOT READY to be a mama… In many ways kuya Josh helped me grow up,\" she began.

\"He was just 3 years old when it became just the 2 of us,\" she continued. \"Because never kong tinago sa inyo that he is a special child, that he’s in the autism spectrum, oftentimes na bully siya lalo na pag may pulitikang involved. BUT 'di hamak mas marami ang nagtanggol at nakaramdam ng pureness ng puso niya at ng kanyang genuine na generosity at ang hindi niya pagpili sa kakaibiganin at bibigyan ng respeto. For kuya kung mabait ka at nagpakita ng kabutihan higit dun ang lambing at pagmamahal na isusukli niya.\"

She then expressed her gratitude to her avid fans, saying it wouldn't be possible for her and her children to share their blessings without the trust and support they had given her all these years.

\"I have often said life isn’t perfect BUT it does have many wonderful moments. Hindi possible for kuya Josh, Bimb, and me to share our blessings had you not given me the trust and support you have. Nakabalik ako sa trabaho, and I'd like to consider that my true career started because you accepted me with all my flaws and strengths 4 months after I gave birth to my panganay. Kris Aquino prepared a special surprise for her firstborn son Josh, who is celebrating his 26th birthday this Friday, June 4.

On Instagram, Kris shared a video showing how she surprised Josh, who is now based in Tarlac City, with balloons and a golf cart despite being miles away from her son.

\"Thank you Mama and Bimb,\" Josh, who was obviously delighted by the surprise, told his mother and brother. \"I love you.\"

Aside from his birthday surprise, the video also shows Josh personally distributing grocery bags to residents in Tarlac as part of an outreach activity to mark his 26th birthday.

In the caption of her post, Kris recalled when she became a mother to Josh—who has been diagnosed with autism—at 24.

\"June 4, 1995. I was so NOT READY to be a mama… In many ways kuya Josh helped me grow up,\" she began.

She then expressed her gratitude to her avid fans, saying it wouldn't be possible for her and her children to share their blessings without the trust and support they had given her all these years.

Josh is the only child of Kris with her former partner, former action star and politician Phillip Salvador.
