Actress and jewelry designer KC Concepcion has returned to the United States, after more than a year of staying in the Philippines due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
KC, 36, flew to Los Angeles, California on Saturday, June 26, as seen in her latest updates on her Instagram page.
"Realized I was boarding a plane for an international flight. First in 16 months!!!" she said in one of her posts.
KC did not say whether her trip was personal or for work, nor whether her stay in L.A. will be brief or long term.
Currently, KC's mother, music icon Sharon Cuneta, is also in L.A.
Sharon, 55, left the Philippines in early May without her family, saying, at that time, that she needed to "breathe" and "collect herself".
Later on, the Your Face Sounds Familiar judge revealed that she went to the U.S. to make herself "productive", after getting depressed over a missed opportunity to star in a movie produced by American director Steven Spielberg and headlined by Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy because of a "false positive" COVID-19 test result.
Both Sharon and KC—the former's child with her ex-husband, actor Gabby Concepcion —are legal residents in the US.
They even owned a mansion in Calabasas City in L.A. County, which Sharon later sold to American comedian Allen Covert, a frequent collaborator with Hollywood star Adam Sandler.
