Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino, the lead stars of the award-winning film Fan Girl, are reuniting for a project.
The actress shared the good news with her followers on Instagram on Tuesday, June 22, as she posted a photo of herself with Paulo.
"Reunion project with @pauavelino," she wrote in the caption.
She then tagged the Instagram account of PROJECT 8, the same production team behind Fan Girl.
Directed by Antoinette Jadaone, Fan Girl tells the story of an obsessed teenaged fan who finds herself stuck inside a mansion with her celebrity idol for one night and learns "exactly why they say never meet your heroes".
The coming-of-age film emerged as the big winner at the Metro Manila Film Festival awards night last year, bagging a total of eight awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Actress for Charlie, Best Actor for Paulo, and Best Director for Antoinette.
Aside from her reunion project with Paulo, Charlie, 25, is also currently gearing up for the ABS-CBN series Viral, where she plays a woman who becomes a victim of a sex scandal.
The series also stars Joshua Garcia, Jake Cuenca, and Dimples Romana. It will be seen on Kapamilya Channel (cable), Kapamilya Online Live (free live-streaming), iWant TFC (on-demand streaming), and A2Z Channel 11 (free and digital TV in Mega Manila).
