Sharon Cuneta has been enjoying her time living in the US for one major reason: she gets to live what she described as the life of an ordinary person.

In her latest vlog, Sharon chronicled her appearance on the latest season of Your Face Sounds Familiar where she recently made a comeback as one of the show’s judges.

With the help of some of her friends, Sharon pulled off her remote setup inside her room at the place where she was staying.

Sharon also introduced in the vlog one of her closest childhood friends whom she has known for 47 years.

“I just have a few real friends in the world. They’re really just a handful. Four of them are childhood friends and this is one of them,” she said as she introduced her friends.

“She’s the oldest friend I’ve had, my lifelong friend, Lorraine. And Jello, her husband, who has become a friend not just because he’s married to my best friend but because he’s such a great guy, a great person. And I love them both so much, and I love their kids,” she added.

“Family is not always blood. And I want to thank you not just for the dinner, but for everything all these decades. Thank you for giving me your children and your grandson,” she continued.

Towards the end of the vlog, Sharon couldn’t help but share a simple yet fulfilling feeling which she described as the favorite part of her trip: a “normal life” she couldn’t get to live in the Philippines.

“Maaaring sa inyo no big deal, sa akin po, ito ang paborito ko — ‘yung nagagawa ko ‘yung lahat ng normal na bagay na tinetake niyo for granted. Sa akin, sobrang special kasi iba ang buhay namin sa Manila,” she said.

While Sharon did not mention anything specific, the Megastar got to visit her favorite mall and dine in her restaurant without getting much attention.

In the said vlog, Sharon revealed she’s going to meet her other friends in the States and will most likely stay until August to visit her daughter Frankie in New York once her classes resume.
