Dahlia Amelie, the daughter of actress-television host Anne Curtis, finally met her grandfather James Ernest Curtis-Smith.
Anne shared the touching moment on Instagram Sunday, June 20, as she greeted her father a Happy Father's Day.
"She finally got to meet her grandad. A year and a bit in the making but it finally happened. There’s a little bit of shyness but we’re getting there. This moment truly made my heart soooooo happy," the It's Showtime host said.
"Happy Father’s Day to our gentle giant. We love you so much!" she added.
Meanwhile, aside from her father, Anne also greeted her husband, content creator Erwan Heussaff, on Father's Day.
"Being a father has chipped that solid wall of yours and has allowed smiles and emotions to flow so freely—but of course that trademark gwapo frown will always remain. You are our world, Papa. Happy Father’s Day @erwan," she said.
Anne and Erwan, who have been married for three years, quietly welcomed their daughter in Melbourne—where the actress-host spent her childhood before pursuing showbiz in the Philippines—in March last year, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
They returned to the Philippines in early February after over a year of living in Australia.
