Bea Alonzo shared her favorite travel destinations in her latest vlog post uploaded over the weekend.

The Kapamilya actress, who liked to spend her free time traveling before the pandemic hit, said she decided to do the vlog to share with her fans interesting anecdotes and never-before-seen photos and videos from her past travels.

"I was browsing through my old travel photos, and I couldn't help but miss traveling even more," said Bea. "I mean, 'di ba, parang nakaka-miss 'yung long flights na dine-dread natin before... I just miss meeting new people, being able to learn about different cultures, being able to try new cuisines. And I thought I should just do a video for you to share my past experiences, to share my past journeys. So I decided to create a video of my top 10 destinations."

She started with the City of Love, Paris. "I went there for the first time I think in 2012. Laging meron akong new experiences na binabaon from Paris," said Bea.

"The first time I saw the Eiffel [Tower], hindi ako nag-exaggerate, pero naiyak talaga ako lalo na nung nag-light up siya sa gabi," she recalled. "Nakikita ko lang siya sa movies before, and then nandun na siya sa personal, right before my eyes. Parang feeling ko I have arrived. But there is more to Paris than just the Eiffel."

Among the places she recalled visiting in Paris aside from the Eiffel Tower were Montmartre, the Louvre Museum, and the Cathedrale Notre-Dame. "Sa totoo lang, 'yung Notre-Dame, I have a very special connection to it," she shared. "I think it was back in 2016. I was going through a breakup. So I went there with Varda (Joel Atienza, hairstylist and makeup artist), my friend. Actually, it was a gift for that special someone. It was an open ticket and hindi namin nagamit throughout the relationship because we were both busy. So I went to Notre-Dame and I prayed and prayed and prayed. You know when you're in that zone where you feel like you are really connected and parang feeling mo nasagot agad 'yung prayers mo? That's what happened to me in Notre-Dame."

Next on her list was Prague, a city in Czech Republic. "Actually, ito 'yung kadugtong nung kwento ko kanina. Nagpunta ako sa Paris with Varda. We were contemplating whether to stay in Paris or go someplace else. The night before, kailangan na namin mag-check out doon sa hotel, so we decided to just book a hotel in Prague," she said.

"At first, I was so apprehensive kasi inisip ko, gusto ko for the first time pupunta ako ng Prague, gusto ko sana pumunta doon with a jowa (boyfriend). Pero sabi ni Varda, never let yourself be stopped by the idea of just going there with someone. Let yourself experience new things and go to new places kahit na kaibigan lang 'yung kasama mo o kahit na mag-isa ka. And I'm so glad I listened to Varda because I had such a beautiful experience being in Prague."

Bea recommended checking out the Prague Castle, the Dancing House, Tyn Church, Charles Bridge, and the Astronomical Clock. "[When] we went to see the Astronomical Clock, doon sa square, narinig namin ni Varda na may nagpe-play ng ‘The Scientist’ of Coldplay," she shared. "Instrument lang tapos parang binubulong niya lang 'yung lyrics. It was so beautiful, really romantic, and as I've said. parang ang ganda ganda ng lighting ng Prague at night. So the next time I'll go there siguro, dapat kasama ko na 'yung special someone ko."

According to Bea, another favorite travel destination of hers was Japan, where she and her mother dream of having a property. "Because we want to be able to live in Japan next to, of course, Philippines," she explained.

She suggested going to Tokyo, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, as well as Niseko, a popular ski town in Japan. "It is the best snow I've seen in my life. Quite frankly ang ganda talaga ng experience. Para kang nasa loob ng isang snow ball. 'Yun yung na-experience ko in Niseko and I cannot wait to go back kapag tapos na 'tong lahat," she said.

The rest of the places on her list were Dubai, Germany, Copenhagen in Denmark, Amsterdam, Vienna, Oslo in Norway, and Florence in Italy.

Towards the end of her vlog, Bea said:  "If you were to ask me where I would go after this whole pandemic, I would go visit Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Vietnam, Iceland—gustong gusto kong pumunta ng Iceland—Finland and go to Santa Village."

"Kine-claim ko na matapos na 'to so we can all move on and you know, see the world again and go back to our normal lives. I know that there are more pressing issues than just travelling but it's just so nice to be reminded of how we could see the world so freely before this whole pandemic. I just miss it very much," she added.
