Aside from turning 18 this coming June 20, actor-singer Kyle Echarri said he is also very excited to perform in his Kyle Digital Birthday Fan Con happening on his Kumu channel the same day.

“I’m very excited for this concert talaga. I’ve been working so hard kaya I’m very excited for all the fans to join me on my birthday concert this Sunday. I’ve been preparing for it so much. I made sure it’s free para lahat makakasama and mas masaya pag marami tayong kasama,” he shared during his mediacon last June 17.

Joining Kyle in his online concert are special guests Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Moira Dela Torre, and Zephanie.

With his new album New Views coming out on June 18 on different platforms online, Kyle said he is very proud of all the work he put into the project.

“It’s been a rollercoaster. Kasi I’ve been doing it for a whole year since lockdown. And I had to go through so many different problems and things because of it. I was supposed to drop it last year pero I wasn’t able to finish it. I was also supposed to have different collabs pero hindi rin natuloy dahil sa ibang differences ng management.

“But I’m happy that I’m finally able to show it. If I could make the whole album, like every single song and makakagawa ako ng music video, I would if I could. Yun lang talaga yung problema ko is time and siyempre with protocols and everything it’s hard to schedule. At least I’m able to fit one more in and I’m excited for that,” he shared.

Aside from performing the songs, Kyle said writing and producing the album was also very personal to him.

“I can say mismong puso ko na siya. It’s really part of my heart na kasi I was able to write the whole thing and produce the whole thing and sinadya ko talaga na walang makakapagbago ng isip ko kasi I really wanted the fans to feel a part of my heart. Unlike the first album na madaming nagsulat para sa akin and nag-produce. I’ve been waiting for a moment like this where I can show the people who I am as a person and as an artist,” he said.

“I wanted everyone to feel my heart throughout this whole album kung sino ang totoong Kyle Echarri para maramdaman nila yung puso ko and they get to hear the kind of music that I want to portray. My first album I enjoyed doing it but it wasn’t me. It wasn’t Kyle Echarri. So this one’s not just for the fans but for everyone that loves music. People say na dapat OPM sounds like this or that. OPM is original Pilipino music and that’s what I’m trying to do. I’m trying to be original. I’m trying to show you guys kung sino ako bilang tao. I’m not just going to follow a sound. I’m going to show you guys my sound and I’m very excited for that,” he emphasized.
