K-Pop group BLACKPINK appears to be cooking up big surprises for fans as they gear up for their fifth-anniversary celebration this year.
Last Tuesday, June 15, BLACKPINK shared on social media posters of their 4+1 Project in anticipation of their 5th anniversary on August.
While no further details have been revealed, fans shared their excitement as the celebration marks not only the fifth year of the girls in the industry but also their hits “Whistle” and “Boombayah.”
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment confirmed that fans can expect a lot of amazing stuff from the girls that will definitely live up to the expectations of fans.
“We have planned various types of projects to meet the love and expectations of many people,” the agency said according to a Herald report.
Composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, BLACKPINK has broken numerous records since its debut including the most-viewed music video within 24 hours of release for the songs “Kill This Love” and “How You Like That.”
BLACKPINK also became the highest-charting female Korean act on the Billboard Hot 100 through the song “Ice Cream” which the girls released last 2020.
