Sharon Cuneta met former actress Beth Tamayo and the latter's husband Adam Hutchinson in Las Vegas recently along with her other friends.

The Megastar also shared that Beth and her husband are expecting a baby girl.

"Fast forward to June 4-7 this year. Went to Vegas with Lorraine and her family—and my NY friends came!!! My friend and sis Beth Tamayo, now happily expecting her first baby, a girl with wonderful hubby Adam, drove from San Francisco," Sharon wrote on her Instagram page.

In response, Beth commented, "Love you always ate!"

In a separate Instagram post, Sharon posted more photos with Beth and wrote, "The original NY squad (missing James) plus new friends!"

Sharon travelled to the US early in May.

"I’m going home. Of course my real home, where my heart is, is where my husband and children are. But tonight I am flying home to my Mommy’s Gramps’ country, where only my eldest and I are legal residents. I need to breathe, collect myself, gain strength," she relayed on social media on May 11 prior to her departure from the Philippines.

In an Instagram Live on May 28, Sharon further disclosed the details on why she decided to go to the US.

She shared that she missed the opportunity to star in a Hollywood film with Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy because of a COVID-19 test hence she is in America to "heal" from the heartbreak.

"I needed to go to America and just leave the country and make myself productive so I licked my wounds here. Hindi na maibabalik sa ’kin ’yung oportunidad dahil lang sa isang pagkakamali sa COVID test kasi seven labs against one. Siguro naman tama ’yung seven," she said.

Despite the heartbreak, Sharon shared that she has been attending to multiple online auditions while she is in the US.

“The good news is my manager hasn’t stopped. I have Zoom meetings left and right, auditions left and right. That’s why I’m here because now people here know I am accessible and I am available. Don’t worry because I still have commitments at home," the Megastar said.
