Charlie Dizon still couldn’t believe that her award-winning film Fan Girl will finally premiere on streaming giant Netflix in a few days.
The 25-year-old star, who auditioned for the lead role in the award-winning film two years ago, said she still couldn’t believe how far the film has gone since her journey began.
“Exactly 2 years ago, I auditioned for Fan Girl and now it has made its way around the world and in a few days, it will be streaming on Netflix. Blessed beyond words. Thank you, Lord,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Sharing behind-the-scene photos from the hit Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Charlie shared her excitement as fans anticipate the film’s streaming date.

Several celebrities congratulated Charlie on her feat, with Iza Calzado, Ria Atayde, Melai Francisco, and Sam Cruz among those who extended their messages to the actress.
Meanwhile, the director of the film — Antoinette Jadaone — teased Charlie over her post saying, “Ay taray o may sarili siyang promo strat!”
Fan Girl officially streams on Netflix this June 17.
