Celebrity couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli wished the Philippines’ bet for Miss Universe Rabiya Mateo the best of luck less than two weeks before she competes in the international beauty pageant.

"To our Miss Universe, Miss Rabiya Mateo... We wish you all the best. We're praying for you, rooting for you. God bless you and thank you very much for representing the Philippines with all you can. Maraming salamat," said Matteo. 

For her part, Sarah said: "We're very proud of you. Whatever happens, do it for the glory of God. At... Congratulations in advance. God bless you. May God grant you wisdom and courage as you represent our country in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant."

In her caption, the beauty queen, who is apparently a huge fan of Sarah, could not hide her "kilig" as she expressed her love for the pop singer. 

"Someone is ‘kinikilig’ right now. Awww, my popster. I love you @justsarahgph," she wrote.

The 69th edition of Miss Universe will be held in Florida on May 16 (May 17 in the Philippines).

It will be shown live on A2Z on May 17, starting at 8 a.m., with a replay at 10:30 p.m.
