As part of the new members of the Gold Squad called Squad Plus, teen actor Renshi Rueso said he is happy to finally get the chance to do more exciting projects with the Kapamilya network.

“Masaya ako nung una dahil three years ako sa indie and magkakaroon ako ng mainstream na project kaya masyaa ko at excited pero kinakabahan dahil hindi ko alam kung kaya ko ba talaga pero thankful ako,” he said.

Having done projects in the past which portray him as a part of the LGBTQ community, Renshi shared his realizations before and after doing the project.

Renshi said that he would still be open to doing LGBTQ roles in the future, “Open naman ako sa kahit anong role as long as napagkasunduan ng management. Okay lang sa akin yun. May tiwala naman ako sa management so go (laughs),” he added.

Now currently part of the cast of the drama series Huwag Kang Mangamba, Renshi said he wants to continue to hone his craft and become a known character actor.

So sana. Ngayon nag-aaral ako ng acting and of course yung personality kasi sobrang importante yung sa trabaho natin and yung professionalism. And of course, ang dami kong natutunan dun sa mga taping, kung paano sila umarte, kung paano sila magtrabaho. Ang gagaling nila, ang professional nila. Dun siguro ako kumukuha ng lessons,” he said.
