KC Concepcion gave her fans and followers a more intimate look at her birthday celebration in Batangas with her father Gabby Concepcion and his family last April.
On Sunday, May 30, the actress and jewelry designer released a 20-minute vlog documenting her bonding moments with her actor-dad and half-sisters Samantha and Savannah as she celebrated her 36th birthday.
As seen in the vlog, the Concepcions marked KC's special day with a "super fun" kayaking session, a simple dinner, and a game of Monopoly post-supper.
"I'm so excited to be spending my birthday with my papa's side. I miss my mom's side, but I also am super happy to be doing this for the first time—a beach trip with papa and my siblings and tita," KC, Gabby's daughter with music icon Sharon Cuneta, said.
"I'm really enjoying my birthday. It's so nice, cool, casual, simple, it's all you need. All the love in the world. No frills, just love," she added.
For her birthday, KC was surprised by her siblings with a chocolate cake, a drawing, and a huge card expressing how happy they were that they got to spend time with their "ate" on her special day.
"I am so happy that we finally get to celebrate your birthday with you and that we finally get to see and spend time with you again, after a long time!" read the card penned by her sister Samantha that instantly brought KC to tears.
"I wish we get to do this more often and make more memories with each other! Thank you for being the best big sister anyone could ever ask for!" it added.
Gabby, for his part, said in his birthday wish for his daughter: "Well, I hope you're happy in anything that you do. Looks like you've been very successful in a lot of things that you've done."
When asked by KC what she should look for in her next relationship, the actor said: "When people ask me—for as long as she's happy, with whoever she wants to be with, you know, then I'll back her up. Life is short and people are unpredictable, and a lot of things, you don't know until you spend time being with that person, doing something that you like to do. That's the only time you'll find, you know, happiness—when you've spent the time, you know, being with that person, or doing the things that you really want to do. Like your jewelry, for instance, that's something that you really like to do."
KC turned 36 last April 7.
