Alex Gonzaga documented her parents' vaccination day in her latest YouTube vlog.
Alex relayed that her parents were initially hesitant to be vaccinated.
Nabiktima sila non, ayaw nila," she shared.
Alex admitted that she was also hesitant herself in the beginning but she realized that vaccination is very important since COVID variants are mutating.
"Ako rin nong una natatakot pero na-realize ko na need talaga ng mommy at daddy kasi lumalala 'yung ano yung COVID, nagmu-mutate daw so kailangan immune ka na talaga," she said.
They registered via web portals in three municipalities as they have residences in Mandaluyong, Taguig, and Taytay.
"Dinaan po namin sa tamang proseso. Wala pong palakasan dito," she stressed.
Alex relayed that Taguig was the first to respond.
"Nauna magrespond yung Taguig. Ngayon pupunta kami sa Taguig para magpa-vaccine," she said.
Alex accompanied her parents to the vaccination site in Taguig.
Pinty and Bonoy received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines and will receive their second dose after 28 days.
Alex also took the effort to print out a "certificate of vaccination" and gave it to her parents to mark their first vaccination.
