"Gusto ko na lang maiyak."
This is what actress Dimples Romana said as she shared that she has received the Professional Development Gold Standard Course Badge from the New York University School of Professional Studies (NYU-SPS), where she has been taking courses related to business.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 18, Dimples shared a photo of her gold badge, which she received after completing the Career Advancement Course "Strategic Planning for Marketers" at the Gold Standard level this year.
"Got this SURPRISE on my email from @nyuniversity where I’ve been taking courses to further my knowledge needed for our new businesses and endeavors as a family," Dimples said.
"Here’s the highly coveted @nyuniversity School of Professional Studies GOLD STANDARD badge for my course taken under Professor @marcsomnolet. Apparently this badge is awarded to you when you have A for grade. You are even encouraged to put this badge on your LinkedIn account to let people know that you have finished courses with this badge and they’ll know your expertise," she added.
According to the official website of NYU-SPS, the Professional Development Gold Standard Course Badge "highlights the accomplishments of students who complete a Career Advancement Course for which they have chosen to be evaluated and have earned a grade of B or higher."
Dimples went on: "The opportunity alone of being in that course was already a huge blessing, learning from the experts, meeting amazing people, super icing on the cake this recognition! Salamat po @nyuniversity SPS. Nakakasipag at nakakatunaw puso."
Dimples's most recent achievement came just after her daughter, young entrepreneur and vlogger Callie Ahmee, finished high school.
In her post, Dimples added: "Super sentimental lately that @callieahmee had just finished high school with flying colors and I, as her mom, just wanted to be able to make her proud just as well.
"And with that, the best part of this GOLD STANDARD badge is that there’s an option for you to dedicate it to people. Read below and see who inspires me to push forward everyday."
Not surprisingly, Dimples dedicated her latest achievement to her husband, Boyet Ahmee, Callie, and their youngest child Alonzo.
Recently, Dimples, 36, announced that she will be opening up a school for acting, as her way of giving back to the entertainment industry, which she has been part of for more than two decades.
According to the actress, the ABCD Prod and Dimples Romana School for Acting and Personality Developments will teach techniques in acting, hosting and branding of oneself that she has personally developed over 24 years in showbiz.
It will be open to aspiring artists, actors, actresses, hosts, brand ambassadors, and even non-media related students.
