Is John Lloyd Cruz joining Maja Salvador's talent management company?

This was the enthusiastic question among fans of the actor, as Crown Artist Management released a teaser trailer for its newest artist on Thursday, May 13.

The video showed glimpses of a man on board a private plane which was parked at a private hangar where a red carpet was laid out for him.

"The [crown emoji] is back!" wrote Maja as caption to the teaser.

She added the hashtag #TheCAMbackisreal, before tagging the Instagram account of Crown Artist in her post.

In the comment section, many fans noticed that the man, despite his face not being shown in the teaser, resembled John Lloyd, who has been on hiatus from showbiz since 2017.

"JLC!!!" wrote one fan.

"Popoyyyy!" said another, referring to John Lloyd's character in the 2007 blockbuster film "One More Chance".

A netizen who goes by the username chinkeyeyes, and who is followed by a few celebrities, said: "I am so happy that the [crown emoji] is back! He is too damn good not to be seen in our silver screen. We all have been waiting for the right time and this is the perfect time. I can’t wait to see him and you bunso working together."

Meanwhile, aside from John Lloyd, other guesses include Maja's boyfriend, businessman Rambo Nunez, with whom she launched Crown Artist, and rock icon Bamboo Manalac.

It was in March when Maja, a former artist of ABS-CBN's talent management arm Star Magic, announced that she has put up her own management company.

“Ako po ay sobrang excited sa bagong yugto ng aking career at makita kung saan ako nito dadalhin. Sa aking pagpapatuloy dito sa industriya, I think the best move for me now is to manage myself. At para magawa ko po ito successfully, I put up Crown Artist Management Inc., kasama ang mga tao na malapit sa puso ko,” she said at the time.

Addressing her supporters, the actress said: "Sa malaking hakbang na ito with my own management company sana tuloy tuloy niyo pa din po akong suportahan in this new journey of mine trying to make other people's dreams come true as well, tulad na lang ng pagtupad niyo ng sarili kong pangarap. Maraming salamat po."

Since then, Crown Management has introduced Lauren Reid, Jessie Salvador, Patty Ang, Yanee Alvarez, Jarlo Base, Andrei Suleik, Gino Santos, and Guel Espina as its talents.
