Korina Sanchez shared her sweet birthday message for her husband, Mar Roxas, who turned 64 on Thursday, May 13.
On her Instagram page, the news anchor and television host shared a throwback photo of her husband with their twin children, Pepe and Pilar.
In the caption, Korina wrote: "I’ve seen him excel in Congress, in the Senate, as Cabinet Secretary. I’ve heard his intellectual yet logical discourses, read his historic legislative dissertations. I’ve seen him work smartly with the wealthiest and tirelessly for the poorest.
"But it is when he is carrying these two little human beings, teaching them to speak, write, hold their spoon and fork, swim or ride a bike that I see with the most clarity — how his name will live on beyond his time of excellence on this planet," she said. "Happiest Birthday to the man who has yet made his best contribution to the world, the #TatayNiPepeEnPilar".
Korina and Mar have been married for more than 11 years. They had a high-profile wedding in October 2009.
In 2019, the couple welcomed their children Pepe and Pilar.
The twins were born via gestational surrogacy in the United States.
Last February, Korina and Mar marked the second birthday of Pepe and Pilar in a simple celebration at home.
