BGYO marked a momentous feat as a group after entering the Billboard’s Next Big Sound Chart.

Less than three months after officially getting introduced to the public through an online fan conference, BGYO is already starting to make waves in the international music scene.
The five-piece group officially debuted at number two on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart for the week of May 15.

According to Billboard, the said chart tracks “the fastest accelerating artists during the past week, across all major social music sites, statistically predicted to achieve future success.”
Next Big Sound, a company tracking “hundreds of thousands of artists around the world,” has the reputation of being the “leading provider of online music analytics and insights.”

BGYO is not the first group to enter the chart as artists such as Morissette, The Juans, and SB19 previously made it in the past.
Formed under ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy, BGYO is composed of members Akira, Gelo, JL, Mikki, and Nate.
Since the group debuted in January, it has already released two singles namely “The Light” and the theme song of the upcoming ABS-CBN series He’s Into Her.

While there is no release date yet, ABS-CBN has already released a teaser for the group’s collaboration with KZ Tandingan called “Feel Good Pilipinas.”
