On Tuesday, May 11, EXO’s agency — SM Entertainment — confirmed the group’s comeback.
This is the first time EXO will be releasing an album since OBSESSION which came out in 2019.
According to Korean entertainment site Soompi, the recording for the album as well as the shoot for the music video took place before two of its members — Chanyeol and Baekhyun — entered mandatory military service.
It can be recalled that the group announced their comeback last April through a surprise video.
Don’t Fight The Feeling comes out on June 7 but pre-orders began as early as May 11. Baekhyun, on the other hand, will release his solo project this month.
Consisting of nine members, EXO is a South Korean-Chinese boy group composed of Suho, Xiumin, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.
The group has released numerous hits over the years including the songs "Obssession," “Love Shot,” “Monster,” and “Ko Ko Bop.”
