Filipino all-male pop group SB19 achieved a huge milestone as they became the first Filipino group to be nominated at the international Billboard Music Awards 2021 (BBMAs).
To be specific, they are the first Southeast Asian act to be nominated in the awards show's Top Social Artist category where they are up against the music industry's big names BTS, Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, and SEVENTEEN.
On May 11, Billboard officially opened the voting for said category and A'TINs were quick to show support for SB19.
On SB19's social media pages, the group shared the guidelines on how their fans can vote for them.
"We're so excited to be a finalist for Top Social Artist at the @BBMAs! Just tweet @SB19Official + #BBMAsTopSocial and/or visit billboard.com/BBMAsVote to vote up to 10 times per day, per platform. Let's raise our flag together, Pilipinas!" the post read.

Voting is up until May 22, while the BBMAs will air live on the NBC channel on May 23.
Just last week, it was reported that SB19 will be wearing custom-made suits created by Filipino designer Chynna Mamawal at the upcoming BBMAs.
Composed of members Pablo, Stell, Ken, Josh, and Justin, SB19 is the group behind hit songs “What”, “Alab”, “Go Up”, and “Tilaluha”.
