Alessandra de Rossi said that she thought she would be able to return to work this year but it hasn't been the case amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country.
In a Twitter post, Alessandra said, "Last year, di ako tumanggap ng work noong 1k cases pa lang. Sabi ko next year na ako babawi, for sure things will get better. Ayun. Mas malala ngayon."

The actress then quipped that she might just find a new job.
"I think I need a new job. Gusto kong maging manghuhula, para alam ko sinasabi ko! Chot!" she posted.
The actress posted the tweet on Thursday, April 8, when the Department of Health recorded 9,216 new COVID-19 cases bringing the total number of active cases to over 167K.
The National Capital Region has been placed under enhanced community quarantine starting March 29 amid the surge in COVID-19 cases.
