Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna are getting married this year

After getting engaged last March 30, Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna revealed they plan to get married within the year in their online interview on Live With G3 with G3 San Diego last April 5.“I never planned. I never wanted to get married. Honestly, my elementary friends, my high school friends are messaging me na ‘oh my God I can’t believe you’re getting married. High school pa lang ayaw mo na magpakasal.’ So today was the first day that I thought of my wedding. Wala pa. We talked about it and wala pang final plans. But it’s this year,” Ellen shared.The 33-year-old actress also opened up about the day Derek surprised her with a proposal which she thought was just an advanced birthday party for her. “So, I didn’t know that he was going to propose kasi earlier that day I didn’t know na parang may surprise kasi they planned it so well. The aircon got sira and nag-drama siya na people are destroying stuff, sinisira na daw lahat so he wanted to play Playstation in our neighbor’s house. So he was playing there for 30 minutes, nagdrama siya. And then I really didn’t know that something like that was happening. Hindi pa ako nag-ayos. Buti na lang talaga maganda ako (laughs),” she said jokingly. Ellen said there were so many planned activities that day that made her almost forget to give Derek an answer when he got down on one knee.“They showed this video pa of my friends and family so parang sunod sunod yung surprise. And then after the video thingy, they asked me to play this game. I had to go up and down to look for clues and solve it. So my mind was off it. Wala na akong time na mag isip-isip or mag-assume. When he asked me to marry him, I forgot that I was supposed to say yes. Parang automatic na understood na yes na yun. Even now hindi pa rin dumating yung mga damit ko so paulit ulit na lang (laughs),” she added.
