With COVID-19 vaccines being the hot topic in the country right now given the current health situation, Dito at Doon actress Janine Gutierrez shared her personal opinion regarding who should be prioritized fist when vaccines become more available.

Janine plays the lead role of Len in the new TBA Studios film Dito at Doon along with JC Santos and her mom Lotlot de Leon whom she experienced lock-in taping with for the first time along with the rest of the cast and crew.

So kung TBA, okay ako and it also helps na dati kasi segue segue so bukas ikaw si Len tapos sa susunod ikaw si Dragon Lady (laughs) di ba? So medyo it was easier na tuloy tuloy. For me, alam ko yung mga may pamilya like JC or yung mga nanay na meron pang may mga batang anak, alam ko mahirsap talaga yung ganitong klaseng set up,” she explained.

Just like her role an opinionated millennial who has had no boyfriend since birth and then unexpectedly meets someone online, Janine shared her own experience with online flirting.

“Opo naman (laughs). Bale parang usap usap lang, ganyan. Before pa ito ha before the pandemic.

Janine said she is more open-minded when it comes to things in life and love. “Medyo na-experience ko na yan eh and ako kasi yung type ng girl na gusto ko subukan ko lahat so I’ll try to fix it or maghintay, baka naman kailangan lang ng space. Pero you really can’t force someone to stay if they don’t want to stay. It’s easier lang talaga for me na subukan lahat para madali rin maka-move on. Kasi pag sinubukan mo lahat, no regrets,” she said.

With the country still on lockdown, Janine shared what she chooses to focus on daily. “Ang hirap maging inspirational minsan. Ang sinusubukan ko lang gawin based on my experience, ita-try ko na laging magpasalamat sa kung ano yung nandito pa rin. Every morning is a blessing. Kahit yung maliliit na bagay ipagpasalamat natin,” she added.
