Maja Salvador did a prank call on some of her closest friends in showbiz in her latest vlog.
According to Maja, she decided to do the vlog due to the volume of requests she has been getting from fans.
“Ang daming nagre-request ng prank na vlog. So, ito na. Prank calling my friends.
One of the first celebrities Maja contacted was her best friend Kakai Bautista whom she pranked about getting engaged to her longtime boyfriend Rambo Nuñez.
Maja told Kakai: “Hi besh! I miss you. Busy ka ba in two weeks?”
“Ano naman binabalak? Mga March 28 siguro pwede,” Kakai responded. To which Maja replied with: “Ah so i-aadjust ko ‘yung civil wedding ko sa’yo?”
In disbelief, Kakai said: “Oh my Goooood! Beshieeeee!”
“‘Wag ka muna maingay,” Maja told Kakai.
Revealing all of it was a prank, Maja said: “Pag gising ko bigla siyang nandiyan na tapos may singsing na nakaharap. Tapos beshie, ‘yun pala panaginip lang. Prank lang pala ‘to.
“Ano ba. Excited pa naman ako gagi,” Kakai replied.
Maja also tried to prank call her good friend John Lloyd Cruz.
“Tay, kailan balik mo ng Manila?” she asked.
“Ah di ko pa alam. Bakit?” Lloydy replied.
She then asked: “Mga March 28 kaya nandito ka na?” John Lloyd the responded, saying: “Siguro naman oo. Bakit?”
Telling John Lloyd her reason for calling, Maja said: “Wag ka muna maingay.
John Lloyd then agreed to attend the wedding and said: “Sige oo. Kung wala man ako, uuwi ako.”
Upon finding out it was just a prank, John Lloyd said: “Ah ganun? Ang corny naman ng reaction ko.” Alex, for her part, said: “At least uuwi ka, ‘di ba? Effort. I felt the love.”
The last person Maja called was Alex Gonzaga who expressed her happiness for the new milestone in the actress’s life.
“I am so happy for you. Sabi nila, ‘Naku, Ate Alex, after mo si Maja ngayon. Nararamdaman namin si Maja feeling siya next,’” Alex said.
But when she found out it was all just a prank, Alex changed her tone and said: “Alam mo nanggigil ako sa’yo.
