Megan Young opened up about her fitness journey saying that she no longer aspires for a "perfect body."
On Wednesday, April 29, the actress and former beauty queen posted a throwback photo of herself recalling that she used to do intense dieting and workouts just to achieve her body goals.
"This photo is a reminder that I probably achieved my 'summer body goals' back then but the journey to get there was tough because of dieting and long hours at the gym. Hindi ako masaya sa food ko noon—ang konti at halos walang lasa," she confessed.
Megan remarked that this time, what she is aiming for is a healthier body.
"Nowadays, I’m not aiming for the 'perfect body' but I’m aiming to have a healthier one. I’m eating better—may lasa na ang food and we’re eating mostly pescatarian (with the weekly burger 😂)," she said.
She added that she has been listening to her body more and has been resting when she needs to.
"At the end of the day, I try not to be too hard on myself," she said.
