Janine Gutierrez shared her excitement to showcase her acting prowess as she is set to appear in her very first drama project—an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya—since moving to ABS-CBN.
The 31-year-old actress revealed it took some time before she found the right schedule for the project where she is set to star to star alongside JM de Guzman.
Four months in the making, Janine explained the reason for the delay — citing projects outside the Kapamilya network among them.
Responding to a fan who congratulated her on her Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, she wrote: “Waaah thank you!!!! I signed in January but since then, I've been doing other projects - 2 movies and a series - outside ABS.”
As she embarks on her acting journey with the Kapamilya network, Janine admitted she feels excited and nervous at the same time.
“First time ko palang talaga makakagawa ng Kapamilya drama show ngayong May! Sobrang excited at kinakabahan ako (dami sinabi, excited nga si teh),” she stated.
