Actor Joshua Garcia took to social media to mark his seventh anniversary in show business.
On Instagram on Tuesday, April 27, Joshua shared photos showing some of the highlights of his showbiz career. In the caption, he admitted that he misses acting.
"Celebrating my 7th year in showbiz... I miss acting so much, and I hope everything goes back to the way it used to be. Stay safe everyone, and I love you all," he said.
Joshua, 23, got his start in showbiz after joining the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2014.
He is best known for his roles in the primetime series Ngayon at Kailanman, The Killer Bride, and The Good Son, as well as blockbuster films Vince and Kath and James; Love You To the Stars and Back; I Love You, Hater; and Block Z.
Prior to the lockdown due to COVID-19, it was already announced that Joshua would return to the big screen via Blacksheep's adaptation of the Bob Ong horror-mystery novel Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan, which marks his first movie in a solo lead role.
Joshua is also set to star in the Filipino adaptation of the South Korean drama movie Keys to the Heart.
In the upcoming film, he will portray a former boxing titlist who reunites with his estranged brother, a pianist with savant syndrome.
The movie will be directed by Dan Villegas. It will also star Charo Santos-Concio and Zaijan Jaranilla, with showbiz newcomer Daniela Stranner.
Release dates for both Mama Susan and Keys to the Heart have yet to be announced.
