Angel Locsin clarified she did not get offended by ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Alvin Elchico’s line of questioning during a live interview on TV Patrol.
On Twitter, Alvin shared a screenshot of a message he received from Angel’s uncle Neri Colmenares through Viber.
“From Gel: Kuya, pakisabi hindi po ako na-offend. Tinanong niya po ang mga tamang tanong na gustong marining ng tao ang sagot. Ginawa niya po ang trabaho niya,” Angel said in her Viber message sent to Neri.
“Wala pong nakaka-offend do at nirerespeto ko po siya. Pasensya na po kung nakagulo pa ako sa kanya,” she added.
Alvin extended his gratitude to Neri for relaying Angel’s message to him as well as to the actress-philanthropist for reassuring him that all is well between them.
“Last night I got a Viber message from Bayan Muna Chair Neri Colmenares na ipinaparating ni @143redangel na hindi sya naoffend sa tanong ko sa @TVPatrol. Thanks for the message Angel. Salamat din Cong. Neri,” Alvin wrote in his tweet.

It can be recalled Alvin was bashed for one of the questions he asked Angel about the incident at the community pantry which took away the life of a 67-year-old man.
Alvin asked Angel: “Meron ka pa bang susunod na ioorganisang community pantry o nadala ka na?”
In an episode of his show on Teleradyo with Doris Bigornia, Alvin sincerely apologized to Angel.
“Angel, if you’re offended, sorry ha. Sorry po kung na-offend kayo. But it was never my intention na i-offend po siya. I just asked it because I think valid po ‘yung tanong,” Alvin said.
“Kasi nga with what happened, uulitin pa ba niya? ‘Yun lang po ang ibig kong sabihin and she answered it. Sabi niya ‘no, hindi ko na uulitin,’” he added.

Angel Locsin stopped the operations of the community pantry—which she organized in celebration of her birthday—on the same day.
Meanwhile, Angel has encouraged everyone who went to her event to avail the free swab test being offered by the Quezon City government.
