In her latest vlog, the 33-year-old actress shared her thoughts about the pandemic as her family and friends got infected with COVID-19 — reminding her fans that it’s no joke getting sick.

“We are on quarantine yet again. A year later, nandito pa rin tayo. Recently, on my Instagram, I have shared that I’ve had friends and loved ones who were infected by COVID. I’m telling you, hindi siya joke,” she said.

Bea went on to share her realizations, saying people won’t believe it unless they experience it themselves.

Alam mo, ‘yung ‘pag malapit na pala sa’yo, ‘yung kapag na-eexperience mo na siya, mas lalo siyang nakakatakot,” Bea said.

But Bea said she understands why some people had to go out despite the threats of COVID-19, citing some people need to go out to make a living.

“I also know that it is a privilege to stay home. I know that there are people who cannot do this. They have to be able to put food on the table,” she stated.

Then again, Bea reminded those who can afford to stay at home to do so for the sake of others.

Para du’n sa mga kaya naman manatili sa bahay, manatili na lang tayo sa bahay to take care of one another,” she said.

In the same vlog, Bea showed her newly-organized pantry.

“But on a positive note, quarantine time means we have more time to clean our homes, organize our homes. And contrary to what my mom said na burara daw ako at hindi ako mahilig mag-ayos ng bahay, I beg to disagree. Because if you have watched my house tour video, you would know na I am big on labels,” Bea said.

Sharing why she likes to organize her home, she said: “I like organizing my homes. And when I’m feeling down, it’s the best thing that I want to do. Because I feel like whenever I am organizing my home, I am able to compartmentalize my feelings and deal with them one day at a time.”

She added: “It is also my way of protecting my mental health which is very important especially now that we are dealing with so many crazy things in life.”
