TV host and model Phoemela Baranda has given birth to her second child.

She made the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, March 6, with a photo of her partner, businessman and a professional race car driver Jason Choachuy, kissing her on the forehead after successfully giving birth to their child.

In its caption, Phoemela wrote: "Thank you for all the prayers and well wishers. Delivery went very smoothly, we’re safe and healthy."

"Beyond happy with you by my side @jason_choa. Most of all thank you Lord for a beautiful, healthy baby. I am forever grateful."

In a subsequent post, Phoemela shared photos of their newborn daughter, whom she and her partner named Illya.

"We love you, Baby Illya," she said in her caption.

It was in November when Phoemela, 40, revealed that she is pregnant by appearing on the cover of Preview.

In her interview with the fashion magazine, Phoemela revealed that she had planned having a child with her partner, who is a first-time father.

"I've always wanted another child, and my partner [wanted one] as well—it’s his first," she said.

Phoemela is already a mom to Kim Nichole, whom she had when she was just 19.

Kim, who was a teen housemate in "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" and is now 21 years old, said she's happy and excited for her mother.

"I know a lot of things are going to change, but I'm happy for my mom because this is such a big blessing for us to have an addition to our family since it's always just been the two of us," she said.
