James Reid continues to reach the global audience through music.
The singer-actor shared that the music video for his collaboration with duo MANILA GREY titled "Backhouse Ballin" was featured on a LED billboard at Los Angeles, California's Universal Studios.
"We Out Heeere! @manilagrey. BHB on billboards at #CityWalkLA @unistudios," James posted on his Instagram page.
The music video for “Backhouse Ballin’” was uploaded on March 25 and has already gained over 600K views as of this writing on Manila Grey's YouTube account.
MANILA GREY is a hip-hop and R&B duo from Vancouver composed of Filipino-Canadians Ghostride Neeko and Blame Soliven.
James has also released a solo track recently titled "Soda."
The music video for it has already achieved more than 127K views as of this writing on Careless Music's YouTube channel.
In a report by The Manila Times, James said that his goal for "Soda" is to release something fresh for his audience.
“I just really wanted to start the year with something fresh. Soda is a new sound for me, and I’ve been working on it since 2020,” he said in the interview.
He added, "Last year was very heavy. I wrote this song during quarantine. Basically, it was a time that I was very introspective and the song reflects those insights and learnings."
