After months of anticipation, Netflix has finally announced the cast of the South Korean adaption of the hit Spanish series La Casa de Papel or more popularly known as Money Heist.
On Wednesday, March 31, Netflix revealed it would feature a star-studded cast for Korea’s own gang of robbers. Among those who will be starring in the show include Yoo Ji-tae as the professor, Park Hae-soo as Berlin, Jeon Jong-seo as Tokyo, Lee Won-jong as Moscow, Kim Ji-hun as Denver, Jang Yoon-ju as Nairobi, Park Jung-woo as Rio, Kim Ji-hun as Helsinki, and Lee Kyu-ho as Oslo.
Meanwhile, Kim Hong-sun — who served as the director for various hit dramas such as The Guest, Voice, and Black — is set to take on the helm of the highly-anticipated adaptation. Details about the official release date of the show have yet to be revealed as well.
Those wondering what the show has to offer, though, are in for some exciting treat as Netflix promises to bring a new storyline set on the Korean peninsula awaits them — with its creators all set to offer fresh, new material composed of 12 episodes.
It was in April 2020 when the streaming platform released the fourth part of Money Heist. While Netflix has yet to announce the release date of the final part of the show, it has confirmed that production has already begun.
