Trina “Hopia” Legaspi will tie the knot with her fiancé Ryan Jarina this year.
“Meron na pong date. This year, definitely. Mga last quarter of the year para hopefully normal na. Para mas marami kaming ma-invite na friends and family,” she said.
According to Trina, among those who they’ve invited to the wedding is former Goin’ Bulilit director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, whom she described as a father figure to her.
It was last November when Trina announced her engagement to Ryan, her boyfriend of more than six years.
According to the actress, she first met her fiancé in January 2014, during his birthday party.
“Una niyang na-meet ‘yung parents ko, and then in-invite niya sa birthday party niya.
Kumbaga ‘yung conversation namin, parang awkward, medyo tahimik. Kasi English-ero kasi siya eh. Ako Tagalog. May language barrier,” she said.
Trina and Ryan will be celebrating their seventh year as a couple in April 2020.
