Michelle Vito recalled what she had to go through before getting her diploma at the De La Salle - College of St. Benilde.

While she seldom makes guest appearances, Michelle said she always prioritizes her work in teleseryes.

Oftentimes, Michelle brings her notes and laptops to tapings because she always makes it a point to do her schoolwork during breaks.

Michelle, who fulfilled her internship duties and remaining classes online, said it gave her an opportunity to do Bagong Umaga at the same time.

So nagsakto-sakto and nagtugma-tugma ‘yung nangyari sa akin,” she said.

Michelle went on to share why she chose to stay in showbiz while pursuing her college degree even though there were times when she would end up in tears.

“Iba ‘yung natututunan ko sa showbiz world. Iba ‘yun. Ibang experience ‘yun, ganyan. Iba ding experience for me ‘yung lesson saken na kapag nag-reregular schooling ako, iba ‘yung pagod eh,” she said.

Ibang experience din ‘yun and ibang lesson ‘yun. And iba ‘yun na alam kong dadalhin ko siya hanggang paglaki ko,” she added.

On what motivated her to finish her studies, she said: “Mas pinili ko pa din talaga na mag-aral ako kahit na may career because may mga kapatid ako na halos lahat sila ga-graduate. And since I was a kid talaga, super priority ko ang education. And I think kapag ganu’n talaga ‘yung level of importance sa’yo, talagang ilalaban mo, i-pupush mo kahit sobrang hirap.”
