After going into quarantine last March 15 following the death due to COVID-19 of his driver whom he calls Kuya Vener, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto announced he had successfully finished the 14-day quarantine in his home. Before his quarantine, Vico had all his personal meetings canceled but continued to work with his staff through text and other online platforms instead.
Last March 24, the 31-year-old government official and son of celebrities Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes posted an update on his official Facebook page and shared the negative results of his most recent PCR test.
“My last night of quarantine!
1. Nag NEGATIVE ako sa PCR test nung ika-apat na araw mula exposure, kaya safe yung nakasalamuha ko pa nung March 12;
Vico also thanked his supporters for their prayers and continued support. In the same post, he also reminded the public about the current IATF rules.
