"You will become a PRINCE."

This was what Sharon Cuneta said when she announced that she has decided to adopt the stray dog she "fell in love with" in Olongapo City during the shoot of her movie "Revirginized."

And while she has yet to take him home, it seems that the veteran actress-singer is already living up to her promise of a much better life for her new pet dog, whom she named Pawi.

On Instagram on Monday, March 22, Sharon shared that she bought a dog collar from French luxury brand Louis Vuitton for Pawi.

"Pawiboy, your collar is on its way home from Italy. Now I’m just waiting for you!" she said in the caption.

According to its official website, the Louis Vuitton Baxter dog collar costs $345.00 or almost 17,000 in Philippine Peso.

It was last Wednesday, March 17, when Sharon announced that she's adopting Pawi, the "aspin" (asong-Pinoy) she found at a beach resort in Olongapo while filming scenes for "Revirginized", her upcoming movie with Rosanna Roces and Marco Gumabao.

"They found you, my doggie that was meant to be mine!" she said in her post. "I could never stop thinking about you and now I cannot wait to hold you and love you the way you have always deserved to be!"

"When you walked up to me and I patted your head, then you rubbed your face so very gently and lovingly on my leg, you seemed like you wanted me to take you home with me. And now, after the great vets there are done treating you, you are coming HOME to me!" she added.

Sharon promised to love and take good care of Pawi, saying he will be treated like a prince and "be loved like [he's] never been loved before."

"They say you are about 8 years old... Oh, what life must have made you go through! You are safe now, baby boy. Mama’s here now and I will love you. I will make the rest of your years happy and you will NEVER have to search or beg for food again or a place to sleep where you would feel safe. Never have to panic to seek shelter from the rain and other elements," she said.

"I love you. I fell in love with you the moment we met and I should have brought you home right then. But all will be well now. All IS well now! I cannot wait to see you again and this time hold you and love you!" she added.
