After giving a glimpse of her bag collection, Kathryn Bernardo showed her followers her favorite designer shoes.
In her latest vlog, the Kapamilya actress showed part of her shoe collection as she shared her go-to heels and flats from luxury brands Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Gucci, Stuart Weitzman, Dsquared2, Amina Muaddi, and Gianvito Rossi.
One is her Lady Peep-toe Pumps by Christian Louboutin, which she's had since she was 18.
“I think you’re familiar with this pair because I think ito ‘yung most used pair ko among all my shoes. I got this when I was 18—I’m turning 25 now, and I’m still using this. So I feel like this is one of the most used and pinaka-practical na nabili kong heels," she said.
"I like this so much because it makes my legs long... and it’s very classic. This one is a must have for me. It’s the classic peep-toe. In fact, I love it so much I got a black one, too, and also a white one," she added.
Another is her Ballerina flats from Chanel, which was a gift from her boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
“DJ gave this to me so this pair is very important. Very sentimental ako na tao so hindi ko siya masyadong sinusuot kasi ayaw ko siyang magasgas kasi patent siya so gasgasin In fact, nagsisi ako one time nung nag-San Francisco kami sinuot ko siya and then sobrang nagasgas, ginamit ko siya para mag-hike! Parang, ha, bakit? So anyway, inaalagaan ko siya ngayon kasi nga gift siya ni DJ for me," said Kathryn.
She also showed her favorite Christian Louboutin pair: the Follies Strass Pumps, which makes her feel like Cinderella whenever she wears it.
“I like this so much kasi hindi siya ganun kadaling hanapin," she added. "I remember, pumunta ako sa isang branch tapos wala ‘to and then pumunta ako sa isang branch tapos wala pa rin. Nakita siguro nila na gusto ko talaga ‘yung pair so in-order pa talaga nila sa ibang branch ng Christian Louboutin na store, and then binalikan ko pa the next day. So worth it naman kasi nagamit ko siya."
To end her vlog, Kathryn reminded everyone that it's okay to reward yourself—whether it's by traveling or buying yourself something nice—every once in a while.
"We have different ways on how to reward ourselves. Like ‘yung iba, it’s traveling, 'yung iba naman, rewarding themselves with shoes or a bag. And there’s nothing wrong with that. May iba iba tayong ways. For me lang, as long as you set a limit and as long as you’re in moderation, then go for it," she said.
“Lalo ako, I work hard every day and I feel like ‘pag meron akong pinagtrabahuhan na bagay, like if it’s shoes or bag, mas nate-treasure ko kung ano man ‘yun kasi alam ko na pinaghirapan ko ‘yun. So sana kayo rin. Don’t feel bad about yourself kapag bibili kayo ng something for you because you deserve it. If it makes you happy and if it keeps you motivated to work even more, then go and buy that pair of shoes or kung ano man ‘yung gusto mong bilhin for yourself. There’s nothing wrong with that. For me it’s self-love," she added.
