Starring opposite Paulo Angeles in iWant’s Ampalaya Chronicles: Me & Mrs. Cruz, Ina Raymundo shared the possible secret to still looking desirable even to younger men.

“Kasi it’s been my lifestyle since I was 25 years old. Mula nung nanganak ako sa first born ko na mag-workout and because of that, yung pagkain ko healthy. It’s a combination of working out and eating healthy. isa talaga yun sa factor para magkaroon ng youthful glow. Kasi pag nag-wo-workout ka, it’s good for the blood. Siyempre yung blood ang pinaka importanteng part ng katawan natin, yung regular flow I think it’s a factor. And also siguro dahil isip bata ako. It’s a combination of everything. Mas isip bata pa ako sa panganay ko minsan (laughs),” she said.

During the mediacon for her new digital series, Ina explained why age really doesn’t matter to her when it comes to relationships.

“Alam mo ba, yung boyfriend ko bago ko ma-meet yung asawa ko, he was seven years younger than me and my husband is seven years older than me. And may narinig akong kasabihan na nag-wo-work yung seven years younger or seven years older. And I must say na yung ex-boyfriend ko na yun was one of my most serious relationships. So siguro for me, pag nahanap mo talaga yung mamahalin mo sa buhay, it doesn’t matter kung younger or older siya sa ‘yo.

But it does work. Dati medyo taboo siya or hindi pa siya accepted pero now it’s no big deal. And halos lahat nga ng pinapanuod ngayon puro May-December affair kaya it works. patok siya.

The 45-year-old Kapamilya actress said she enjoyed her role as the sexy older woman who catches the attention of a delivery boy in the upcoming iWant series.

“For me yung mga May-December love affair, I have nothing against it. Kasi sa iba nag-wo-work di ba? Very open naman ako sa ganitong role eh kasi I find it fun to do.

For me to be able to do that, yung tipong where you have to exude sexiness and that inner sensuality, parang it’s nice that I’m still able to do that and at the same time merong depth behind it, may pain, may maturity,” she explained.
