<p>Angel Locsin expressed her disagreement with President Rodrigo Duterte's recent statement about the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p>As the Philippines marked its first year since it was placed under quarantine because of the pandemic on Monday, March 15, the president was quoted saying, "Do not despair. Kaya natin ito COVID na ito. Maliit na bagay ito sa buhay natin."</p><p>He added, "Marami tayong dinaanan mas ano, mas grabe, mas mahirap, mas magluluha kayo... Hindi po ‘yan forever. Lilipas din po ‘yan at pagdating po ng bakuna, magkakaroon nga po tayo ng solution sa ating problema, magkakaroon tayo ng new normal,” Harry explained in an online briefing as reported by ABS-CBN News. </p><p>“Hindi po minamaliit ng ating Presidente ang ating paghihirap. Ang sinasabi po niya, babangon naman po tayo dyan, we will heal as one,” he added.</p>
