Francine Diaz on playing a troubled teen in ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba’: ‘Isa ito sa dream role ko’

Known for playing the role of the sweet girl-next-door Cassie in last year’s afternoon soap <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/kadenangginto'>Kadenang Ginto</a>, Francine Diaz admitted she was excited to be doing a role reversal with co-star Andrea Brillantes in Huwag Kang Mangamba.“Yung na-feel ko nung nalaman ko na dito ako yung kabaliktaran nung role ni Cassie, ako naman dito yung bida kontrabida. Unang una sa lahat, sobrang thankful and sobrang natutuwa rin kasi isa ito sa dream role ko na gusto ko magawa. Ang tagal ko rin kasing ginampanan si Cassie kaya nasanay ako sa kanya and gusto ko rin ipakita na talagang si Joy iba na siya kay Cassie,” she added.
