Jasmine Curtis-Smith and JC de Vera will co-star for the first time in the upcoming movie General Admission.
According to its official synopsis, the film follows the story of Katja (Jasmine), a member of a sexy dance group who has a wardrobe malfunction on a noontime show.
Soon, she and her boyfriend, Carlito (JC), find themselves at the center of a media circus that eventually results in a brutal and very public murder.
In a previous interview, Jasmine had described General Admission as a "dark, satirical comedy."
The movie is directed by Jeffrey Hidalgo, who helmed the 2015 romance-mystery film Silong, and written by Dustin Celestino.
It is produced by OxxiPital Films in association with Provill Studios.
The film streams on April 9, with a special premiere on March 23.
Tickets for General Admission, which are priced at P150 each, are available for sale through KTX.ph.
Jasmine, 26, was last seen in the science fiction-thriller movie Midnight in a Perfect World alongside Glaiza de Castro.
Aside from General Admission, the actress is set to star in the upcoming film Real Life Fiction opposite Piolo Pascual.
Meanwhile, JC, 35, currently stars in the ABS-CBN series La Vida Lena. On the big screen, he was part of the 2019 horror film Barbara Reimagined.
