Alas Joaquin, the eldest son of Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica, was hospitalized after he was bitten by a dog.
Kylie shared the news on Wednesday, March 10, via her Instagram page.
"So unbelievably proud of this boy. He is strong, he is resilient and he has such a wonderful sense of humor. Even through the scariest time of his life he proved to be even stronger than even mama and papa," she said.
"This time we had together has bonded us even more. It is truly through struggle we find strength and a new perspective and it is life’s way of teaching us to appreciate what we have and what is front of us. Family through and through," she added.
The incident comes amid rumors that Kylie and Aljur have broken up, which began when the actress shared some cryptic posts pertaining to relationships on Instagram in February.
However, just early this month, Aljur hinted that he and Kylie had patched things up when he paid tribute to his wife on International Women's Day.
He shared photos of Kylie, one of which showed the actress wearing her wedding ring, and referred to her as "queen."
Kylie, 28, and Aljur, 30, have been married for more than two years.
They tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony at Villa Milagros in Rizal in December 2018.
Aside from Alas Joaquin, the couple also has another son, Axl Romeo.
