Actress Nikki Valdez took to social media on Tuesday, March 9, to mark her 24th anniversary in show business.

"Today, another milestone happens in my career as I celebrate 24 years in showbizness!!!! Wow wow wow, 24 years!!!" she said in an Instagram post.

The actress went on to thank those who have supported and trusted her to make her dreams come true, including ABS-CBN and her Star Magic family.

"I am where I am now because of all of you," she said.

In a subsequent post, Nikki admitted that unlike other celebrities, joining the entertainment industry was never her dream, saying that as a child, she was "always insecure, intimidated, and had fear of rejection."

"But fate went the other direction and God had the best plans for me. Here I am now twenty-four years later... Was it easy? No. There are still some struggles to this day. Was it worth it? Definitely! I wouldn’t have it any other way," she wrote.

Expressing her gratitude, Nikki said: "I am beyond blessed to have a job that continues to sustain me and my family and a company that has continued to love and take care of me and people who have always been there no matter what. I am in my happy place and have no plans of going elsewhere."

"When you love what you do and take care of that, it comes back to you more than you can ever imagine," she added.

Nikki, 40, was one of the members of Star Circle Batch 4, along with Dimples Romana, Jericho Rosales, Kristine Hermosa, and Dominic Ochoa. Their batch was launched in 1997.
