Jane de Leon says it is a dream come true to join ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’

Jane de Leon said she was more than happy to be welcomed as part of the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano cast this year where she plays a captain named Lia Mante. The pretty Kapamilya actress admitted she has always dreamed of being part of the show even when she just started out in showbiz.

Kasi grabe nung nag-start yun 16 years old pa ako. Five years ago. Yan ang abangan nating lahat,” she shared during her Ang Probinsyano mediacon on February 5, Friday.

Even though she counts as her first big break in the industry her role in the 2018 drama series Halik, Jane said her role as a sniper in Ang Probinsyano will be different from the rest, including her role as Darna.

“Biggest break ko talaga before Darna is Halik bilang Maggie Bartolome. Pero siguro kontrabida or bida okay lang basta maging part ako ng show walang problema sa akin yun,” she explained.

Jane also admits that Ang Probinsyano has also helped her offscreen as she needs to be physically fit in preparation to play the iconic Pinay superhero later this year.
