After spending the recent holidays in Boracay, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla hit the beach anew for a quick break with their family and friends.
This time, the superstar couple went to a resort in El Nido, Palawan.
On Instagram, Kathryn expressed her awe over the beauty of El Nido as she shared photos and clips from their beach vacation.
“A HUGE thank you to this group for letting us see and experience this side of El Nido. It wasn't my first time here but I’ve never witnessed its real beauty until this trip happened—the locals, their life, food, and the breathtaking islands. WOW. EL NIDO IS SOMETHING ELSE. I hope we continue to protect and preserve its beauty. Filipinos are lucky to call this our own,” she said.
In a separate post, the Kapamilya actress is seen flaunting her figure in a black swimsuit, as she posed with the pristine, white sand and turquoise-blue waters of El Nido in the background.
"So many things to look forward to! Going home with a happy and grateful heart. Thanks to the amazing group that inspired me in so many ways. Cheers to new friendships and better days ahead!" she wrote in one of her captions.
With the couple on their quick getaway were Kathryn's mother Min Bernardo, as well as their good friends Joe Vargas and John Valle.

"KathNiel," as their onscreen tandem is known to their fans, were last seen in the digi movie series The House Arrest of Us, which concluded last January 16.
The two are set to star in a new ABS-CBN series conceptualized by Juan Miguel Severo, the writer behind the acclaimed movie Hintayan ng Langit and the popular BL series Gaya sa Pelikula.
In a previous tweet, Juan Miguel hinted that the still-untitled TV project of Kathryn and Daniel will be "a romantic series about experiencing timeless love."
According to Kathryn, the project is something both she and Daniel have been wanting to do for a long time.
"Malayo sa last na ginawa namin, which excites me and DJ, kasi matagal na naming gusto gumawa ng ganitong klase pero mahirap ito sa execution," she said.
"It's something na gusto namin ni DJ talaga kaya medyo na-delay dahil inaayos pa yung script. We’re happy because we’re working on a project na gusto namin yung concept," she added.
