Veteran broadcaster Doris Bigornia will have to undergo open heart surgery after suffering a heart attack over the weekend, her co-host and fellow Kapamilya reporter Alvin Elchico announced on Tuesday night, February 23.
"Siya po’y inatake sa puso noong Linggo, papuntang Lunes," said Alvin on their DZMM Teleradyo program SRO.
ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe also confirmed the news on Twitter.
"Please join us in praying for our very good friend @DorisBigornia as she goes thru heart surgery after suffering a heart attack. Doray, kaya mo yan. Maraming nagmamahal sa yo. Fighting Doray!!! We love you!" said MJ.
