Known for her standout style even after the disbandment of her hugely popular girl group 2NE1 in 2016, Sandara Park has continued to make a distinctive mark all over the world with her ability to effortlessly switch from glam to street style both on and off camera.
A self-confessed sneaker head, the 36-year-old actress and singer has shared in previous interviews with South Korean press that she has over 1,000 trainers in her collection. She can be seen wearing her favorites on her Instagram account, including the three pairs of GD x Nikes that were personalized for her by her good friend and fellow music artist G-Dragon.
Unlike other celebrities who prefer to always look uber feminine, Dara constantly shows her love for street style by trading in her glam looks for streetwear brands like Off-White and Vetements which also shows off her cool and fun personality. Here are just some of her recent street wear looks.
Currently estimated to have a net worth of US$16 million, Dara has definitely come a long way from being known as the Philippines’ “Pambansang Krung-Krung” when she joined Star Circle Quest in 2004.
Always vocal about her love for the Philippines and her fans here, Dara returned to ABS-CBN in 2016 as a judge in the singing competition Pinoy Boyband Superstar. She was last seen in a local project during her cameo in the 2017 Star Cinema film My Ex and Whys.
Her hugely successful girl group 2NE1 debuted in 2009 and disbanded in 2016. Last October, Dara donated 30,000 masks to the Korea Children’s Incurable Disease Association, WE START, and the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation for children suffering from leukemia and cancer to help keep them safe from COVID-19.
