Angel Locsin, Dingdong Dantes, Arjo Atayde, and Alden Richards have made it to the list of honorees for this year's 5th Film Ambassadors' Night (FAN).

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) announced the list on Tuesday, February 16, consisting of "Filipino film industry creatives, artists, filmmakers, and films of various formats that gained recognitions from established international film festivals and award-giving bodies in the past year."

Filmmakers Rafael Manuel and Lav Diaz lead as this year's "A-listers," or those who bagged awards in prestigious A-List international film festivals as declared by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).

Lav Diaz won the Orizzonti Award for Best Director for Lahi, Hayop (Genus Pan) at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in Italy, while Rafael Manuel was awarded the Berlinale Shorts Silver Bear Jury Prize for Filipiñana at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival in Germany.

Arjo and Alden fall under the Actors category. Arjo won Best Actor for the iWant series Bagman at the 3rd Asian Academy Creative Awards, while Alden bagged the Asian Star Prize for the blockbuster film Hello, Love, Goodbye at the Seoul International Drama Awards.

Meanwhile, Angel and Dingdong will be recognized as "Cinemadvocates," or individuals and groups that tirelessly champion the welfare of film workers and the development of the industry.

Now on its fifth year, the Film Ambassadors' Night will be held online on February 28.
