#BinJin is real!
Real-life couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin appeared together in the newest ad of telco giant Smart — and it featured the track of award-winning OPM group Ben&Ben.
After doing solo ads for Smart in the past, Crash Landing On You co-stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin surprised their fans with an advertisement on Valentine’s Day. But unlike their previous ads which they did separately, the two appeared together in this time around.

The ad — which highlights Smart GigaLife’s 5G offering — also featured Ben&Ben’s newest track called “Inevitable.” The OPM band simultaneously released the song with the newest ad on various streaming platforms.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin were announced as Smart’s endorsers following the success of Crash Landing in You last year.
“We believe Hyun Bin and our partnership with him embodies our brand value — which is to be part of the pursuit of their passions — and Filipinos are certainly passionate and crazy about K-Dramas and Captain Ri,” Smart’s Jane Jimenez-Basas said as she expressed her excitement for Hyun Bin during the big reveal of Hyun Bin’s participation in Smart’s campaign.
Meanwhile, Smart’s Ramon Isberto assured fans of CLOY that Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin will definitely come and visit the Philippines.
“We’ll have to plan that very carefully and keep you updated… But I can assure you, as Jane and Al [other company executives] have been talking earlier about, that Son Ye Jin really wants to come here. She’s been here and she’d like to come back, and I’m sure all of you guys would like to see her,” he said.
Fans have expressed their desired to see Hyun Bin and Son Ye-in end up together after getting hooked pn the storyline of “Crash Landing on You." And in January this year, fans finally got to have their wish granted as the couple finally confirmed their relationship.
"It’s a new year. Appearing in front of all of you with news about my personal life rather than work-related news for the first time, I wonder why I feel so embarrassed. Yes, that’s how it turned out. Haha," she wrote in her post as translated by Korean site Soompi.
She added in her post: “I’m not sure what I should say, but I thought I should at least say something to all of you. It feels very awkward and strange. I’m thankful to have been able to meet a good person, and I’ll work hard to tend [the relationship] with care," she added in post.
“The love and support that all of you give me, I’m always keeping it in my heart. I hope there will be many good things in the new year. Be healthy. Ppyong,” she continued.
