Celebrity couple Sam Pinto and Anthony Semerad are set to tie the knot in a civil wedding ceremony on March 8.
The actress made the announcement in her post on Instagram on Wednesday, February 10.
"We’re actually going to do a civil wedding first. This date has been set pre-COVID, and everything/everyone was booked already. That’s why we’re still pushing through even with a VERY small civil wedding (literally like 4 guests lol)," she said.
Nonetheless, Sam said she and Anthony are planning to have a "semi-bigger wedding" at the end of the year.
"We’ll have a semi bigger wedding end of this year with our loved ones present," she said. "Claiming this is our year! Only peace, happiness, blessings and positive vibes! Everything that is happening is supposed to happen."
Sam's announcement comes after she and Anthony released snaps from their summer-themed prenuptial shoot, which was shot by photographer Pat Dy.
In one of her captions, the actress shared that she "was never really the 'planning-my-wedding-day girl'" and that she and her fiancé have been "super chill" about the details of their big day.
"Didn’t even know that a prenup is done like 3 months before the wedding. Lol," she said.
For his part, Anthony, a pro basketball player, expressed his excitement to marry his "best friend."
It was in August 2019 when Sam and Anthony got engaged, during their vacation in Australia.
The two have been dating for more than two years.
